Provides a curb-to-curb transportation program for seniors 65 years of age and older. Rides can be used to travel to any local destinations including but not limited to:
Rides must be scheduled two business days in advance, and may be scheduled up to one month ahead of time. One companion or family member can accompany the client on a ride for no extra charge. Individuals must become a client before using the program.
Non-medical rides are limited to 8 miles from a client's residential address. Medical appointments are limited to a 16-mile radius from a client's residential address.

Seniors 65 years of age or older residing in Saratoga, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and San Jose
Eligible zip codes:
95110, 95112, 95116, 95118, 95119, 95120, 95122, 95123, 95124, 95129, 95130, and 95139.
RYDE is also available for residents of the city of Morgan Hill and can be used to be taken to other destinations within Morgan Hill only.
Client must be 65 or older, and be ambulatory with at most a cane or walker (NO wheelchair access).
Requires application form to be filled out, along with a deposit into a digital account to allow for monetary-free transaction between client and driver. Applications can be obtained by contacting a RYDE Coordinator. Deposits can be made by check or card. Call two business days in advance to schedule or book a ride up to 4 weeks ahead.
If clients would like a companion or family member to travel with them at no extra charge, please contact a RYDE Coordinator to obtain those forms.
First, become a client before scheduling first ride. Participants must schedule a ride at least two business days in advance. When scheduling a ride, riders must provide their desired scheduled pick-up time and return time.

Offers discounts for low-income seniors: $0.90-$9.00 0-4 miles $1.30-$13.00 4-8 miles $1.80-$18.00 8-16 miles. RYDE fees are fixed, based on the number of miles traveled to a destination, and based on annual income.
