Eligibility
Prospective foster parents can be single, two-parent, or same gender families of all ethnicity and income levels. Must be 18 years or older, residing in Santa Clara County, and willing to submit to a background check (each adult in the home).
Applicants must complete an application packet, orientation, and subsequent training provided by the agency to become foster parents. Call or visit website for more information. Detailed information provided upon intake.
Documents
The Licensing Packet, provided at orientation, includes Foster Family Home Application, Health Screening Report, Criminal Record Statement, Personal References Request, Livescan (criminal background checks), PRIDE training certificate, Emergency Plan for Foster Family Homes and Facility Sketch.
