Location Overview

Oversees resource families who are approved to provide care and supervision for children 24/7. Approved by the State of CA to license foster family homes within Santa Clara County. Foster families provide temporary care for children who are experiencing family crises due to abuse or neglect. Prospective foster families receive:
  • 24 hours of PRIDE training
  • Monthly financial assistance for children in care
  • Medi-Cal for each child
  • Advocacy and support services

Eligibility
Prospective foster parents can be single, two-parent, or same gender families of all ethnicity and income levels. Must be 18 years or older, residing in Santa Clara County, and willing to submit to a background check (each adult in the home).


Applicants must complete an application packet, orientation, and subsequent training provided by the agency to become foster parents. Call or visit website for more information. Detailed information provided upon intake.
