TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Provides a volunteer driver service. Offers rides for medical appointments or the grocery store. To older adults and people with disabilities. Rides are not guaranteed.

Provides Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) to and from Medi-Cal (Medicaid) covered appointments. Appointments can be for:

• preventive care visits
• surgical treatment
• procedures
• dialysis treatment
• prenatal care
• dental care
• vision care
• mental health appointments
• substance abuse treatment

Medical provider's authorization is required for Medical Rides by Vivalon NEMT transportation.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guarantees people with disabilities equal access to public transportation. Public transportation providers cannot refuse service to those with disabilities.
