2-1-1 Bay Area is a program of United Way Bay Area
Provides a 18-20 weeks support services to families who are facing crises caused by substance, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. Can help with issues such as (but not limited to):
Advocacy for housing
Child behavior
Education advocacy and literacy
Access to advocacy for healthcare
Depression or other health concerns
Referral to alcohol and/or substance abuse
Language barriers
Family violence
Marital or relationship challenges
Assistance with resume/job preparation
Home organization
Staff will visit parents once a week for 1-1.5 hours in their homes. To increase and support their parenting skills. To coaching them to interact with their children in a more safe, effective and loving manner.
Eligibility
High-risk families with children (birth to five years of age) residing in San Francisco, or with open case with County of San Francisco Family and Children Services.
