Location Overview

Provides a 18-20 weeks support services to families who are facing crises caused by substance, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. Can help with issues such as (but not limited to):

  • Advocacy for housing

  • Child behavior

  • Education advocacy and literacy

  • Access to advocacy for healthcare

  • Depression or other health concerns

  • Referral to alcohol and/or substance abuse

  • Language barriers

  • Family violence

  • Marital or relationship challenges

  • Assistance with resume/job preparation

  • Home organization

Staff will visit parents once a week for 1-1.5 hours in their homes. To increase and support their parenting skills. To coaching them to interact with their children in a more safe, effective and loving manner.

High-risk families with children (birth to five years of age) residing in San Francisco, or with open case with County of San Francisco Family and Children Services.
