Location Overview

Provides general library services that include books for loan, audio cassettes, video cassettes, CD's, DVD's, reference services and inter-library loan. Also offers access to public computers and Wi-Fi.

  • High-interest English language collection of books, magazines, newspapers, DVDs, Blu-Rays, as well as music and books on CD.
  • Extensive Japanese language collection of books, magazines, newspaper, DVDs, Blu-Rays, and CDs
  • Japanese Interest Collection (in English) covering many aspects of Japanese culture
  • Russian language collection of books, newspaper, DVDs, and CDs .
  • Black Interest Collection that covers many aspects of Black history and culture.
  • Historical photo archive collected from neighborhood residents as part of the Shades of San Francisco

Eligibility
Must be: . California resident (required to obtain library card; must have a library card to check out materials.) . San Francisco residents who have a disability or long-term medical condition that prevents from visiting the Library . Educators living or working in SF may apply for a Teacher Card. . A parent / guardian must sign for anyone under age 13.
