Provides a warmline for new mothers experiencing a postpartum mood disorder such as depression or anxiety. The warmline is volunteer-run, and all volunteers are experienced moms who have recovered from a postpartum disorder. Volunteers are there to listen and provide personalized clinical referrals. May also assist with identifying alternative perinatal supports such as doulas, lactation consultants, or parent support groups in the caller's area. If a caller is thinking about hurting herself or her baby, they can get help right away by calling 800-PPDMOMS or 800-944-4773.
