Provides a curb-to-curb transportation program for seniors 65 years of age and older. Rides can be used to travel to any local destinations including but not limited to:Medical appointmentsGrocery storesBeauty salons.Rides must be scheduled two business days in advance, and may be scheduled up to one month ahead of time. One companion or family member can accompany the client on a ride for no extra charge. Individuals must become a client before using the program.Non-medical rides are limited to 8 miles from a client's residential address. Medical appointments are limited to a 16-mile radius from a client's residential address. For additional information on RYDE, visit the SASCC website or call the RYDE coordinator. Please note: RYDE services are not accessible by wheelchair.
