Provides a monthly box of U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) food to low-income seniors. Participant misses distribution day, they can pick up food from a different location. Food boxes include a wide variety of foods. Participants receive approximately 30 pounds of food each month. Please visit the Food Locator website to search for information.

Low-income seniors should sign up for weekly distribution. As well as the monthly Supplemental Food Program.

Elegibilidad
Residents of San Francisco, Marin, San Mateo, or Alameda counties. Must be at least 60 years of age with income at or below 130% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines (listed below). 2019 Gross Income Guidelines (Family Size / Income): Family Size / Annual Income / Monthly Income / Weekly Income 1 / $16,237 / $1,354 / $313 2 / $21,983 / $1,832 / $423 3 / $27,729 / $2,311 / $534 4 / $33,475 / $2,790 / $644 For each Additional person, add: $5,746 / $479 / $111

New applicants must provide proof of identity and age AND proof of Bay Area residency AND self-certify their income is at or below 130% of the federal poverty level. Enrolled participants must bring ID (one of the following: driver's license, ID card, passport, birth certificate, Medi-Cal card, or any official document with name) AND program card to site to receive food box. Re-certifying participants must provide ID, program card, and self-certify their income is at or below 130% of the federal poverty level.
